According to different needs, the following adhesives can be selected:
1. TG-3200: A single component room temperature cured soft elastic shock-absorbing adhesive that is resistant to high and low temperatures, but has a slow bonding speed. The adhesive usually takes one or several days to cure.
2. TS-8602 instant adhesive can quickly bond PBT in seconds or tens of seconds, but the adhesive layer is hard and brittle, and not resistant to water.
3. TE-9270 type, two-component adhesive, with a soft adhesive layer, suitable for large-scale bonding or composite of PBT. But its high-temperature resistance is poor.
4. TE-9249 type adhesive: two-component adhesive, resistant to high temperatures.
5. Sili-1706: Single component room temperature vulcanized rubber, cured as an elastic body with waterproof and shock-absorbing adhesive, resistant to high and low temperatures. With a thickness of 1-2mm, it can cure for 5-6 hours and has a certain strength. If fully cured, it will take at least 24 hours. Single component, no need to mix, apply and let stand after extrusion, no need to heat up.
Process characteristics
Before PBT injection molding, it is necessary to dry at a temperature of 110-120 ℃ for about 3 hours. The molding temperature should be 250-270 ℃, and the mold temperature should be controlled at 50-75 ℃. Once the material is cooled from a molten state, it will immediately solidify and crystallize, resulting in a shorter cooling time; If the nozzle temperature is not properly controlled (too low), the flow channel (water outlet) is prone to cooling and solidification, to nozzle blockage.
If the temperature of the material barrel exceeds 275 ℃ or the molten material stays in the barrel for more than 30 minutes, it is easy to cause the material to decompose and become brittle. When injecting PBT, it is necessary to use a larger nozzle for injection molding, and a hot runner system should not be used. The mold exhaust should be good, and it is advisable to use "high speed, medium pressure, and medium temperature" conditions for molding and processing. Fireproof materials or PBT nozzle materials with fiberglass should not be recycled. When shutting down, PE or PP materials should be cleaned on time to avoid carbonization.
