For example, in an acidic or alkaline environment, the charge state of the fiber surface may change, thereby affecting the adsorption and diffusion of dye molecules. At the same time, the performance of various auxiliaries used in the dyeing process, such as leveling agents and dispersants, will also be affected by the pH value. Therefore, in the dyeing process, it is necessary to comprehensively consider the characteristics of fibers and auxiliaries, and optimize the overall dyeing effect by adjusting the pH value.
In actual operation, there are many ways to adjust pH value. You can directly use acidic substances (such as sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, etc.) or alkaline substances (such as sodium hydroxide, potassium hydroxide, etc.) to adjust the pH value of the solution. At the same time, adding a buffer is also an effective means to stabilize the pH value of the solution and prevent drastic fluctuations in pH value due to chemical reactions during the dyeing process. The choice of buffer should be based on the type of dye, the characteristics of the fiber, and the specific requirements of the dyeing process to ensure a smooth dyeing process.
