PBT (polybutylene terephthalate) is a high-performance engineering plastic widely used in various industries. In order to meet the needs of products of different shapes, PBT raw materials need to undergo a series of precise processing techniques.
Among them, melt extrusion is a commonly used PBT raw material processing process. In this process, the PBT raw material is heated to a molten state and then extruded into shape by an extruder. By adjusting the extruder temperature, extrusion speed and mold design parameters, products of various shapes, such as pipes, plates, rods, etc., can be obtained.
Injection molding is another commonly used PBT raw material processing process. In this process, the PBT raw material is heated to a molten state, injected into the mold by an injection molding machine, and then cooled and solidified. This process is suitable for manufacturing products of complex shapes, such as parts, housings, etc. By adjusting the parameters of the injection molding machine, such as temperature, pressure and injection speed, high-precision and high-quality products can be obtained.
In addition, compression molding is also a commonly used PBT raw material processing process. In this process, the PBT raw material is heated to a molten state, placed in a mold, and then fully filled with pressure, and finally cooled and solidified. This process is suitable for manufacturing large and complex-shaped products. By adjusting parameters such as pressure, temperature and duration of pressure, high-density and high-strength products can be obtained.
In addition, blow molding is also an important process in the processing of PBT raw materials. In this process, the molten PBT raw material is extruded into a tube of a certain shape through an extruder, and then the tubular PBT raw material is blown and expanded by air or vacuum. This process is suitable for manufacturing hollow or thin-walled products such as bottles, containers, etc. By adjusting parameters such as the temperature of the extruder, the extrusion speed and the blowing pressure, products of different sizes and shapes can be obtained.
